Se encuentra ubicado en la parte alta de las monta\u00f1as del caser\u00edo de San Miguel, a 30 km de Tingo Maria. Adem\u00e1s, el lugar es una zona de selva virgen, de bosques frondosos y espeso. En ocasiones se logran observar Gallitos de las Rocas, monos, golondrinas, managaracos, loros, entre otras aves, animales, mariposas, etc. Esta catarata se encuentra a unos 40 km. de la ciudad de Tingo Mar\u00eda, en el distrito de Chinchao.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Temporada de visita es durante\u00a0<strong>todo el a\u00f1o<\/strong>.
